A Social Contract

MixTape runs on a simple social contract between us (the people who make the games) and you (the person playing them). Here's what each side brings to the table.

What We Bring

Free games. Every single one, completely free, now and going forward. No registration walls, no payment prompts, no premium locks. We bring games that are safe for all ages, free from inappropriate content, and honest in their design — no dark patterns, no deceptive mechanics, no hidden costs. Scores and achievements are celebrations, not commodities — they have no monetary value.

What You Bring

Good faith. You use our site through a regular browser, play the games as they're designed, and refrain from trying to break things. You respect our creative work by not copying or redistributing it. You don't deploy bots, exploits, or automated tools. If you're under 13, you bring a parent or guardian's awareness that you're playing online.

What We Both Accept

Technology isn't perfect. The site might go down occasionally. Games might change. Features might evolve. We provide the site "as is" and can't guarantee uninterrupted service. Our liability is limited by law. These terms might be updated — when they are, the revision date changes and continued use signals agreement.

Ownership

We own the games, code, art, and design. You own your experience, your skills, and your bragging rights. Links can be shared freely. Content stays ours.

If the Contract Breaks Down

These terms operate under applicable law. If a clause doesn't hold up, the rest persists. Disagreements start with a conversation, not a courtroom.

Talk to Us

Every social contract needs open communication. Reach us through the contact options on our site — we genuinely want to hear from you.
